Contribute a word

The lexicon is the ceiling on translation quality, and no fixed word list keeps up with living slang. Submissions go into a review queue rather than straight into the engine, and approved ones can be exported in the exact shape the lexicon files use.

How review works

Suggestions from the improvement pipeline (on this computer only).

A submission lands as pending.
Other people vote when they have heard it used.
A maintainer marks it approved, rejected or duplicate.
Approved entries are exported by GET /api/contributions/jam/export in lexicon-file shape, ready to paste into src/data/lexicon-jam.json.

A note on variation

Neither language has a standard spelling, and both vary sharply by region and generation. A submission that disagrees with an existing entry is not necessarily wrong — that is what the alternatives field is for.
